Selling Candy on the Subway

Q: Do you lie about why you want to sell candy?

A: No. When I sell candy, I sell candy. I donít sell it for the basketball team. I say that I need the money for myself and they give me the money anyways.

Q: Why do you sell candy anyways?

A: The money, man! I make $480 a week.

Q: So how do you feel about people who really need the money but canít get it because of your candy business?

A: Well, all I have to say is that thereís plenty of damn motherf***ing money for damn motherf***ing homeless people.

Q: How long have you been in the candy business?

A: One month.

Q: How much do you have?

A: Like $1,300.

Q: What trains do you sell in that make the most money?

A: The A train. I sell five times in every cart. I come out with thirty bucks in every train.

Q: What candy sells the most?

A: The candy that sells the most is M&M peanuts. Everyone loves M&Mís. Second would be Starburst. I guess itís cause you could share them with many people.

Q: What do you do with the money you earn?

A: With the money I get I just buy clothes and give some to my moms. And since Iím 'bout to get a Nextel, I guess Iím a have to spend my money monthly on that.

Q: Have you ever seen other people selling candy?

A: All the time. Theyíre always cool but thatís only because I know people that they know.
