Fordham Road and Webster Ave.

Jewelry Store Robbery

One day I was on Fordham Road walking down to Webster. I was about to cross the street when all of a sudden, I heard an alarm. It sounded like it was coming from the jewelry store to my right. I saw these two guys run out of the store. They both had black flight jackets and blue jeans, and one of them was wearing a hoodie. I could tell that they were probably like 25 or 26. The store owner ran out after them. He was Chinese, old, and kind of chubby, so he never caught up to them. The cops just came from everywhere. I just stood there to see what was going to happen, but the cops were pushing the crowd back. Then, like ten minutes later, they caught the guys and brought them back to the front of the store in handcuffs. The cops gave back a lot of chains so I knew that the two guys were going to jail for a while. When I went home, it wasn’t even on the Channel 12 news.
